Reveal Me, Lord – Day Three

Hi.  My name is Kimberly and I am a “doing too much-aholic.”  Hi, Kimberly.

Tuesday was a bit challenging.  I arrived from work to find all play and no work.  There’s something extremely unnerving about seeing the trash can in the garage instead of on the curb.  Add an overflowing recycling box and a science fair project left untouched and you have the makings of a Momma on a mission!

There was very little room for deviation from the schedule.  With the Zumba Fitness class I teach at my church fast approaching, I had to take the initiative to round up my little PK’s and get out the door on time.  At the last minute, the class was cancelled; there was a little room to breathe.  I basked in the unexpected shift and enjoyed the time to just think.

God revealed to me that I cheated my children out of a chance to think critically and draw proper conclusions.  If I had exercised just a little more patience, they would have realized that chance.

Hindsight is 20/20…and a new day is dawning.
